About Us

Thank you for your interest in Paradise Embroidery Designs... Our mission is to provide the best quality machine embroidery designs for your enjoyment.
Paradise Embroidery Designs are created by Michele Potter and Earla
Miles. All of Michele and Earla's designs have been digitized using
Manual Punch Only (no auto digitizing). Manual Punch is a more
controlled way to digitize and gives the best results. More time does
get put into creating a design, but the results are well worth it.
Operating both Paradise Embroidery Designs and Not Just Threads at Potter's Paradise is not always an easy task.
Michele gets the opportunity to digitize in her spare time so you will not see new designs here as often as you will on other sites where the digitizers can devote their entire days to digitizing.
Now that Earla has teamed up with Michele at Paradise Embroidery Designs, we
hope to be able to offer you new designs on a weekly basis.

Michele Potter
To tell you a bit about myself...My name is Michele and I am the proud owner of Paradise Embroidery Designs and Not Just Threads at Potter's Paradise. I live on the outskirts of Jarvis with my husband, my 2 dogs and 6 cats...yes that was not a typo...six cats. I have two grown boys, age 28 years and both have families, which makes me a Grandma.
I have been sewing for well over 30 years and discovered this wonderful hobby...Machine Embroidery...14 years ago. I've always had a desire to create my own designs and have been seriously digitizing for over four years.
All of my designs have been digitized with either the Generations or Embird software programs.

Earla Miles
To tell you a bit about myself...My name is Earla Miles. I've been
happily married to Don for 45 years and live in the Hamilton, Ontario
area. We have 3 daughters, 3 son-in-laws and 9 grandchildren
ranging in age from 14 years down to 2 months.
I've been interest in digitizing for many years. With my first
computerized machine, (a Pfaff 7550 back in 1994), I insisted that I
need the software program to create these designs. Old pre-Windows
stuff. I tried for weeks on end to take a built in decorative
stitch and change it to a large embroidery design. No internet,
just played and stitched tons of weird designs, relying on the feed dogs
and no hoop! At the time, I had no idea this was called
digitizing.
Since then, the fascination with digitizing has grown and now I have
been given the opportunity to sell my designs. Thanks to
Michele, this is a dream come true.
We hope you enjoy your shopping experience with Paradise Embroidery Designs!
Happy Stitching,
